1. You must fully drain the Hp 484170-001 battery until the laptop goes into hibernation for your first use it.
2. Store it in a cool and dry area. Do not expose battery to water or other moist/ wet substances.
3. Do not forget to take away your Hp 484170-001 battery from the laptop if you will not use it for a long time.
4. Know that after that plug in your charger and allow it charge for 12 hours or depending on what the technician has told you. 12 hours is the max and you can use it while charging .
