I have always been into XHTML and CSS, but recently I have been into dynamic pages. I have worked with Microsft's ASP and ASP.net and I feel that ASP.net is a great codelanguage. However, in my opinion PHP is the way to go on the web at the moment. PHP is such feature packed scripting language. It is easy for first timers to pick up and once you are familiar with php you can easily pickup on other programming languages. The only real down side to PHP compared to .NET is that PHP will give you more opportunity to write bad code, where .net forces you to follow stricter standards.
