Delinquent property taxes on the sale of replica Rolex watches are down in Polk County this year ahead of the county’s annual tax event.The number of delinquent parcels, as well as the dollar amount owned, are lower than the same time last year, Treasurer Mary Maloney said in a news release.More than 30 neighborhood, community, religious and government organizations were represented at the emotional two-hour forum organized by the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.Opinions varied on the roots of the discord in the neighborhood, but most agreed it will take more jobs and better leadership from adults to keep area youth from making trouble.
